World Net Forum (WNF) is an online forum that was developed to liberate the way content is shared around the world.

Nowadays, Social Networking Platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and even search engines like Google usually filter data according to geography and demography.

Other Social Networks like Twitter (X), and even the writing platform - Medium, all focus on allowing the publishing of articles on a subscription basis.

There has been a monopoly of these platforms around the world, and it has been such that new bloggers are not even able to rank organically on Google or even other search engines.

The Paid Traffic

Today, almost everyone has to get paid traffic from social networks or search engines because they don't allow new bloggers or even authors to establish their authority organically.

Social Networks limit the traffic on your account and they don't allow your blogs to get traffic if those are not boosted. Some social networks or so-called micro-blogging websites don't even allow people to share their words past a set barrier or threshold if they don't have a paid membership.

In the past, social networking websites used to allow users to publish their content and it used to come on the front page of their friends we all used to get updated about what was happening in our friend circle, but today there are more suggested posts and advertisements instead of friend feeds.

World Net Forum is challenging this concept of monopoly and filtering of articles or posts by allowing people around the world to post, and the posts will be displayed on the front page of the website or as per the star ratings of the articles that are shared and these star ratings can be given by anyone anonymously as well.

This ensures that the articles that are liked by people around the world are always shown on top.

Search Engines Plagiarising Blogger's Content

Search Engines like Google and Bing are Plagiarising Blogger's Content in the name of AI-Generated content and we are always okay with the same.

Isn't it just rubbish?

How come Google has the option to show the weather? Do they have their satellites checking the weather?

How are search engines showing news? Have they captured the news themselves?

Why are search engines showing currency convertors in their search bar itself?

These tools were initially used by bloggers to get traffic, but now search engines can do it by themselves, and hence people don't need to go to the websites to check all these things, eating up bloggers' and tool developers' organic traffic.

Plus, now search engines have started giving summaries and other AI-generated content which is plagiarism and none of the bloggers and other people that are posting content on their websites realize this issue that this is just copy-pasting of their content and word spinning done by Google's Gemini/Bard and Chat GPT, and even Bing doing the same.

We are just giving way too much power to these giants and they are just eating up our hard-earned research to make money themselves and they they ask us to pay money to rank our content.

This is just monopoly and plagiarism at its worst and no one is stopping or raising their voice against all these companies.

What can we do?

The only thing that we can do is stop using their services or at least try to create alternatives or at least give some chance to new companies that are becoming their competitors.

We need to have more competition for these big firms because they are just using our data to make money.

They have made us all so dependent on their services by connecting every single thing that now it has become difficult for us to understand our lives without their applications.

Starting from our email IDs, which could easily be something else, we always want it to be a Gmail or Hotmail. Why not try to go with your domain and pay for it?
